Fields are tied to a table in the database, to delete the field would mean also deleting the table in the database. Elastic designer does have permission to delete fields and elastic based tables but only if they are empty and have no entries.
If you would like to delete an Elastic Windows field but that field has been used to enter information then talk to your GP admin to delete/move the current information to somewhere else before removing the field.
