Functions in Excel are shortcuts that allow a small amount of code to execute depending on the users input. Some common examples of these functions are:
SUM()
VLOOKUP()
AVG()
SCOUNT()
CONCAT()
MINMAX()
ROUND()
UPPER()
LOWER()
These functions are a small example of the various options that can be found in Excel. Some examples are easy to understand and others are more advanced. TGP+ is here to change up some of these advanced options to be far more user friendly. The biggest impact would be the replacement of VLOOKUP() with TGPGET(), more details found in the “No more VLOOKUP()?” article.
